Das Ist Doch Keine Art! is a Berlin-based team of two artists, Magdalena Frankiewicz and Yael Sherill. The artists’ main focus is intervention into the urban fabric and exploration of the relationships between our everyday activities and the mental and emotional reception of our surroundings. Employing the aesthetics of game, they challenge the audience’s imagination and question an inattentive, unobserving approach to the urban space.

The Big Draw workshop

The Big Draw workshops with the KREATIFFORMA School of Drawing
Venue: al. Niepodległości 39, Poznań

The workshops will be held byLilianaBasarab. They will centre around lines, a theme whch refers to this year’s edition of Big Draw – the biggest drawing event in the world.

The participants will draw their feelings and any ideas they can imagine. They will try to illustrate the year 2012 using only lines. With their eyes closed, theywilldraw their own concpets and those of their fellow participants. They will also try to portray a person they chose without looking at the paper.

Workshops for children

On 21 October 2012 at 12.00 Liliana Basarab will hold workshops for school-aged children titled  „Abstract drawing – shapes and feelings”.
The workshops will be held at the National Museum in Poznan.
Admission included in the price of the museum gallery ticket.

The workshops will consist of four events developing the participants imagination and creativity.

During the first part, the participants try to draw the story told by the hostess with their eyes closed. After that, they sit in a circle and, again with their eyes closed, draw their own work. After a minute, will pass their sheet of paper to the person sitting next to them and whisper to them what object they have just drawn, so that the next person can continue the drawing.
