The workshop is inspired by Chinese painting and the literary output of chosen Czech artists. It is going to be based on merging the painting gesture with the fragments of prepared texts.

Lenka Vítková lives and works in Prague. She graduated from Czech philology with major in the Artistic Education at the Palacki Univesity in Ołomuniec. In 2012 she defended her PhD thesis at the Academy of Arts where she is a lecturer now. In 2006 – 2008 she worked as an art critic in Novy Prostor magazine, in 2004 – 2009 she worked as the editor of Umelec magazine. In 2006 – 2010 she worked as an art patron in Galeria 36 in Ołomuniec.
As an art patron she publishes in art magazines. She is also the author of the artistic realizations connected with painting and music.  She is also an author of spatial installations and interventions.

She realized a series of individual and collective exhibitions, for example in Opawa, Ołomuniec, Prague, Brno, Moscow, Grenoble, Volyn, Nachod, Bucharest, Kutna Horza, Zielona Góra, Horažďvice.

The meeting with the artist was organized together with the students of History of Art who are the members of the Adam Mickiewicz University Science Circles. The project is organized within The International Programme of the Artistic Residences realized by the Nastawnia Association.

The project is co-financed by Poznań Town Hall and The Wielkopolska Regional Government.
