She lives and works in Prague, where she paints, curates exhibitions and contributes to art magazines. From 2006 to 2008 she published reviews in the Novy Prostor magazine, from 2004 to 2008 she edited the Umelec magazine, and since 2006 she has been a curator of galeria 36.

Lenka Vítková graduated from Palacky University in Olomouc in Czech Language and Art. At present she is finishing her PhD thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. She has done a number of individual and group exhibitions in Opava, Olomouc, Prague, Brno, Moscow, Grenoble, Volyna, Nachod, Bucharest, Kutna Hora, Zielona Góra, Horažďvice.

Lenka Vítková also participated in a residency programme in Shargorod, Ukraine. She received a stipend from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and a residency grant form tranzit.cz. Her works were exhibited in many European countries, such as Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and France.
